James Amoateng You know sometimes I wonder if an archangel somewhere is looking after me. One evening in Manchester after a match between Man U and city, I decided to go to Rusholme a few meters away and get some Kentucky fried chicken. After walking for a while I came to a crossroad with traffic lights. There I saw what looked like a huge crowd of people making their way towards me. I got confused and stopped wondering whether to go ahead or turn back. Just at that moment a car turned towards me and someone shouted, "quick get in the car! Without any thought I jumped into the car through the already opened door. My benefactors two guys asked me where I stayed and I showed them. They rushed me home and asked me not to get out of the house. I thanked them and asked for their contact. They didn't respond and just sped off. I went to my room and switched on my radio. It was then I realized what kind of danger I faced that night. Football hooligans were actually on the rampage in the area and were vandalizing shops, overturning and smashing vehicles and causing all kinds of atrocities on people. Up till now the identity of those two guys who rescued me remains a mystery. Whether they were angels or beings from outer space I do not have a clue.
