Ken Gleed I just like the feeling of accomplishing something (and not an easy thing!) I set out to do. So far, I have written what I feel is important, so I feel good about knowing that I completed it.
Ken Gleed I am so critical and unsure of my work as it is, that I feel my entire writing experience is one giant "writer's block." However, I pretty much only write when I have something to write about-- I honestly haven't ever set aside time daily to write (like so many wonderful and dedicated authors I know do!).
When something comes to me, I try to note the idea somehow (like on my cell phone or a scrap of paper). Then when I sit down and begin writing on that idea I find that words flow much easier. I will often spend hours (if I have the time) just writing when I have a good idea. I suppose I know I'm done with that writing segment when I don't have any clear ideas left-- and maybe that's the writer's block. To me, it just means I need to do something else until I get an idea. No big deal, really.
I realize this is not totally efficient, and is probably the reason it takes me so long to write a book, but it's how I roll!
Ken Gleed I have a few books in the beginning stages and more in my mind that still need formulating. I don't currently have anything I'm actually writing at the time, but plan to begin on one of them shortly.

I will likely stay in the non-fiction genre, but my current ideas are not memoir or sports related like my first 2 books.
