Currently I'm working on the third book in the First Crown series, The Red King, which should be available mid next year.

This is a question I'm asked quite a lot and I usually end up surprising people by telling them that my primary source of inspiration for the First Crown series came from the videogame; The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.
It's my favourite game that I've played before and is spectacular, I couldn't try to sum it up in a couple of words and I would recommend it to almost anyone that's never played it before.
Whenever I'm preparing to do a big block of writing, I'll usually start another play-through of Skyrim to get the creative juices flowing.
