I tucked my favourite toy into bed and whispered, “Goodnight.”
From the dark under the bed, a soft voice whispered back, “Goodnight.”

If I could travel to any fictional book world, I think I’d choose one where curiosity is celebrated and everyone is welcome just as they are — a place a little like Ellie and Ollie’s world. I’d spend my days exploring, asking questions, making new friends, and helping where I could.
Most of all, I’d love to listen to the stories of the characters who live there, because every world — real or imaginary — is made brighter when we take the time to understand one another.

My summer reading list is filled with books that feel like friends. I love reading picture books that make me smile, laugh, and sometimes feel a little brave. I also enjoy stories that remind me how big the world is and how important kindness can be.
When I read in summer, I look for books that feel cozy, curious, and full of heart — the kind of stories that stay with you long after you’ve turned the last page.

One mystery in my own life that could become a book is the mystery of where stories come from. Sometimes they seem to arrive out of nowhere — while I’m walking, daydreaming, or just being quiet — and suddenly a character like Ellie or Ollie pops into my mind. I often wonder: Were they waiting for me all along?
That mystery feels a bit like magic, and I think it’s a reminder that our imaginations are full of wonderful surprises, just waiting to be discovered.
