Leah Battaglio Ana walked into the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale with graceful anticipation. As she pulled out her phone, the demure young lady realized she forgot her wallet.
Leah Battaglio My husband is from the South and a proper gentleman. When I first started visiting his hometown, it was a bit of a culture shock. Not necessarily in a bad way, it's just different from the Pacific NW, where I'm from. I thought it would be fun to write about it in a fictional way. Leah Battaglio I'm not really sure. I went a long time without writing once my daughter was born. I start to get restless and ideas start whirling around my head. When that happens you just have to write them down before you forget what they were!

Leah Battaglio You get to create your own fantasy world. I don't really write a lot of gloom and doom so fortunately my fantasy world is pretty easy going.
Leah Battaglio When I have writer's block, I just have to step away. If I'm stuck on something, I get most of my ideas when I'm relaxing. Relaxing for me is usually laying down next to my kids in a dark room trying to get them to fall asleep. It's kind of my happy place.
