Write. Write. Write. Your first draft will not be your final draft so write everything out. Don’t worry if it’s too much information or doesn’t flow in the beginning. Once all is said and done, the editing, tweaking and proofreading will weed out whatever doesn’t work.

I listen to music and do my research online. Many times, that research will send me somewhere I never imagined and a new idea is born. Sometimes, I just have to go for a walk or take a drive to clear my head.
