I'm currently writing the 13th book in the Scions of Oth series, Chaturaji. I hope to release it in September of 2024.

The Jotnar series, which I've only recently started writing, is inspired by a combination of the Alien movie franchise, Halo, and a pinch of Warhammer 40k.

I've always been telling stories. Since I was a little kid. I think it's something that I've always been drawn to.
Specifically science fiction writing, though, that is due to my childhood. I have always been enthralled with the tropes of science fiction, the infinite worlds to explore, the unlimited potential. There were great science fiction stories being told when I was a kid, both on TV, in movies, and even video games. Kinda makes sense that I'd want to go on and write my own.

Writing is something you do. You have to practice it on a daily basis. If you find yourself talking about your ideas more than you actually spend time writing, you need to write more.
Also, don't be afraid to put your work out there. I don't adhere to the notion that your first book should never see the light of day. You don't improve without feedback.

Usually I take some time away from the project I'm working on so I can come back to it with a fresh pair of eyes. I also find that reading what I have previously written and having a solid outline and plan for where the project is going also help prevent writer's block from creeping in.
