Thanks, Kenny. From book 2 on we do leave the empire but Ambrosius' story is very much about Britain amid the ruins of the empire. It's a shadowy period and Ambrosius is one of the few actual historical figures we know of. I hope readers will want to follow his story.

Cheers, Kenny. Book 3 will be out in the next month or so. I'm considering continuing the series beyond that as Ambrosius has a long story!
Take care,
Derek

Hi Stuart.
Thanks for getting in touch. I'm very glad you enjoyed book 2. I am contracted to write Book 3 and it is under way, but it is unlikely to be out until maybe the end of the year. The story of Ambrosius and Arturus will certainly move forward in the next book...
Cheers

I'm tempted to say Middle Earth to see Frodo, Gandalf and Aragorn, etc. but as to what I'd do there? Perhaps nip up to Mount Doom and grab the ring before Frodo and Gollum manage to make a mess of the whole thing.

After I've read Matt Harffy's The Cross and the Curse, there's Under the Approaching Dark, by Anna Belfrage, Clash of Empires by Paul Bennett, several by David Gilman and Matt Harffy and loads of SJA Turney's!
