I'm actually working on two projects right now, one is paranormal and the first in a series, and the other is a standalone contemporary novel.

Music. Mostly indie and alternative. I really can't write or get into the story I'm writing unless there is music in the background.

Wow, I have a lot of favorite couples. Perhaps my most favorite would be Bella and Edward (yes, I'm a twi-hard). Their story has so much conflict just by him being in love with her.

I've always been imaginative, and the first time I started writing a story I was just twelve years old. I got away from it over the years and didn't get back to it until after the birth of my two children. My in-laws bought me a laptop because I was returning to school to study nursing. Up until that point I didn't use computers much at all, just when I had to. I'm not sure what exactly got me to open word and start up writing again. I had started reading a lot, using reading as an escape from being a wife and mother (I had suffered from postpartum depression with my first child). But I started a story one day about demons and angels and the writing bug grabbed a hold of me and never let go.

Never give up. There are so many more opportunities for authors to get their work out now than there was ten or fifteen years ago. Learn your craft first and when you're ready and you have a polished product, the sky is the limit. :-)
