The fans! At book signings people tell many different stories about their time reading my books and what they did with them. Doing research is also very nice - a great excuse to learn new things. ;-) Lastly, the freedom to express my thoughts, unfiltered, is priceless.

I'm fortunate not to suffer from writer's block! My head is always full of ideas. I can write quite slowly sometimes, though, which is mostly due to perfectionism. To remove problems, plot holes and things that just don't 'smell' right in my stories, I only need time. Give me enough time and I trust I will have my aha-moment.
