Hi, Rachael! Hopefully you figured this out already, but yes, Boundary Lines is out on Audible. Here's the link in case you missed it: http://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fant...
I hope you enjoy it!

Hi, Mo! By now, I'm sure you've given up on me answering --I didn't realize my email settings were off, so I haven't been getting these questions. The idea for a null actually came from my interest in a few different things: crime scenes, how the supernatural could ever stay hidden in a modern world, and of course, the movie Hellboy 2. No, seriously. There’s a sequence in that film where the characters wear special goggles that let them see the supernatural, all the things that are usually hidden from human eyes. I was fascinated by the idea of someone who could see hidden things, and for a while I worked on a main character who was a crime scene photographer.
I played with the idea for ages, but whenever I got into all the real mythology questions, I kept running into problems. More importantly, the more I developed the character, the less I was able to connect with her. Runa was a little too squeaky-clean and cheerful for me to spend a whole book inside her head, although I did manage to bring the character back as a romantic foil for Scarlett in Trail of Dead.
So I needed a new main character, and it occurred to me that I could sort of flip the concept around: instead of seeing or finding the supernatural, she undoes it. As soon as that popped into my head, I knew Scarlett.

Yep! I'm doing the third Boundary Magic book right now, and then I'm writing a new Scarlett. No title yet, but it'll have to do with the Vampire Trials that I hinted about in the first trilogy.

Hi, John! Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, I am currently writing the third book in the Boundary Magic series. After that, I'm contracted for a return to my Scarlett Bernard series, and after THAT...who knows. :) We'll see what my publisher wants by then.

Hi, Marry, sorry for the delay. The short answer is no, I'm not. The longer answer is that I don't really consider my books romance. Romance is a great genre, which I myself enjoy reading occasionally, but in a romance the *main* plot is the relationship between two characters. While my books often include some sort of romance, it's never the main plotline. Therefore, I try not to tout my books as romance because I worry that they will disappoint romance readers, who have expectations about the main storyline.
I do attend a lot of conventions, but I don't want to be hypocritical --it would be unfair of me to insist my books aren't romance and then try to seduce (pun intended) romance readers into reading them!

Hi, Andrea, sorry for the delay. I thought Goodreads notified me when I had new questions, but it turns out I just suck at the internet again. :) Yes, there will be another Scarlett book after the third Boundary book. More details here:
