The idea for Red Rock first set seed while I was working on the survey ships in the Arctic. I stared out at the ice slipping past, the puffins and seals and occasional polar bear, and wondered what it would all be like when the ice was gone. We know so little about what lies beneath the Greenland ice cap. And so the world of Red Rock was born - the melting ice caps - the rising seas - and a strange small red rock....
