Jayne Castel Hi Christi, sorry, I haven’t checked my Goodreads messages in ages. I didn't see your question! Yes, I agree Loc would have made an excellent name for Galan and Tea's son. However, they were traditionalists back in those times and usually the first born son would take his grandfather's name. Hopefully, this didn't spoil your enjoyment of the book. Best wishes, Jayne
Jayne Castel Hi Chi, Oh boy, this is a brilliant, yet tough, question! I love all my books ... and they were all my favs while writing them ... but I would say that my favorite series so far has been THE IMMORTAL HIGHLAND CENTURIONS, and MAXIMUS is probably my favorite book (for the moment!). That series was just so much fun, on so many levels, and Maximus was such a fascinating (and incredibly sexy) hero. :-)
Jayne Castel That's easy - I'd travel to Middle Earth, and I'd go straight to Hobbiton and get myself an ale at the Green Dragon Inn!
Jayne Castel A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses) by Sarah J. Maas - I adore this author!
Jayne Castel Claire and Jamie from Outlander - great chemistry and I loved how their relationship developed and strengthened slowly.
Jayne Castel Peace, quiet and inspirational music. Loreena McKennitt is one of my favorites!
Jayne Castel Currently working on RULED BY SHADOWS Book #1 of my new Fantasy Romance series: Light and Darkness. In a land ruled by shadows, the fate of all lies in the hands of girl who's afraid of the dark. You can find out more about the novel here: http://www.jaynecastel.com/fantasy
Jayne Castel My most recent book, DAWN OF WOLVES was inspired by a legend involving a real historical 'power couple': Wulfhere of Mercia and Ermenilda of Kent. My version of the story is a lot less blood-thirsty though! The novel was a Kindle Scout winner has been published by Kindle Press - it's available in Kindle and paperback format on Amazon.
