Yes, I'm shooting for October. It is in copy edit right now. After that a proof read and I can turn it over to design and out the door. This one has grown larger than the rest... not intentionally, but more by the characters.

Trying to shift focus to book 5 now.

Thanks for asking.

Thanks for asking. My fiction schedule this year has taken a beating. On the one hand I had one editor retire and another who backed out just as his time slot was about to be reached. This has thrown off my timing. My hope is that Book 4, Search for Help, will be out by late October or early November this year.

FYI, I have taken some of this "wasted" time to start a re-write of Future Discovered. It needed some help.

I appreciate your following and interest. Thanks.

The next book, Search for Help, is finished but needs proof reading and interior design completion. My regular proof reader is unavailable so a search is underway for a replacement. I wanted to launch in September but that may get pushed out to November or December depending on edit schedules.

Michael J. Farlow Right now, Immortal Guardian is projected to be launched at the end of June this year. Thanks for asking!
Michael J. Farlow Just do it. My first book was a non-fiction book on leadership (Leaders are Made Not Born). It took some time to put my ideas into a readable form helped by a book coach. This time I'm delving into fiction. It's easier to write, but the craft is more complex. Orson Scott Card says that jumping right into the writing is worth more than any number of classes. I think he's right . . . with the help of a good editor. So, just jump in and do it!
Michael J. Farlow I'm working on a sci fi trilogy. The first two books (Future Discovered and Immortal Guardian) are out of copy edit and going into proof reading. Hopefully out by March 2017. The third has just gone into developmental editing. Longer way to go on that one but am shooting for August-September 2017. Wrote all three in the same basic time period. Now I'm subject to other people's schedules. I try to keep people updated on my blog.
Michael J. Farlow Usually the term writers block refers to a point in the story development where you have no idea what comes next or what to do. Initially, I would take a break and go for a walk or do something else. However, I found that if I developed the characters well enough in advance (which I am still learning to do), the story just develops on its own. For me, writers block becomes more difficult in the re-write process. I take lots of breaks and even do a simple story board on a BIG white board that I have. Hope this helps.
