I have been working to get the final version of my second novel, unrelated to my other works finally published. It is finally gone to proof after I started writing it is 2013! In terms of new material, I just signed off the eBook version of my latest Henri Patriquin novel: Resistance and am now working on the third in my Adept series of fantasy magic stories, Yellow Robe: Engagement of an Adept. My hope is to get the Adept series published once at least the first three novels in the series are completed.

I like to have an image in mind that represents the work I am doing. I build a playlist of music that inspires me for that particular story, then I really think about the characters and what they are trying to achieve.

Since creating the character of Henri Patriquin, and having dropped some hints and remembered events from his youth in previous books, Resistance was a natural prequel to describe where he came from and how he got established. Resistance was actually the fastest to write of all my books, I knew so much of the story in my head before I started to write it!
