Never give up! Keep writing! If what you are writing doesn't excite you then it may not be the right project, try another! It can be frustrating if your writing isn't flowing on a particular day, but your passion for the project will bring you through and give you the motivation. If your passion is not strong enough it is hard to push through. Love what you do and love what your are writing. Think about your characters constantly and be planning scenes even when you are not at the computer. The idea that grabs you and doesn't let you go is probably the one to go with. Much like a reader, writers need to look forward to seeing what will happen next. You want to feel compelled to write something and have an absolute need to see what happens to your characters.

The ability to create. Each day is different and a new opportunity for a fresh scene, character idea or plot twist. There are no limits to the imagination and I love that!

Keep writing! Sometimes you can write yourself into a corner, but you need to write yourself out of it. You can do this by taking a break, (get some fresh air, a snack, make a call, do something non-book related) or just start writing another scene and re-visit the other one after. Don't let it deter you just keep writing and coming up with ideas. The best thing about writing is you can go back and add, edit, or delete. (But you need words on the page to do that!)
