Catherine Law Hi Chrissie, I'll answer again here, so that other readers can pick up on this...

The Secret Letters was originally published as A Season of Leaves a few years ago - and both these titles are now out of print. But the same novel is being republished on May 25th as The Land Girl's Letters by Boldwood Books. It will be in paperback, ebook or audio.... I hope you enjoy it. 😊
Catherine Law I would love to journey to Westeros, in Game of Thrones for, despite its dangers and bloody, unsettling wars, it is an evocative, beautiful world. I can see myself at King's Landing, drinking summer wine on a shaded terrace looking out to sea, or eating grapes under a bower of vines in the land of Dorne. Even a trek to chillier Winterfell would be magical, for I would sit in the snow under the Heart Tree in the Gods Wood and receive the prophecy. I would swear my allegiance to House Targaryen, bend the knee to Daenerys Stormborn and ask her, ever so politely, if I could ride one of her dragons.
Catherine Law I have just finished my fourth novel, which is with my agent, so I am having a little time out from full-on writing. It is quite restful being 'between books', and I am reading (fantasy, a genre I've never read before), gardening, sorting out my house... doing other things while my mind ticks over ideas. Sooner or later, inspiration will strike and I will start the wonderful process all over again.
Catherine Law There are two ways which work for me. Firstly, I don't try to write. I read other books, watch inspirational films, go for long walks and stay away from my lap-top. Or - still avoiding the lap-top - I sit down with pen and paper and force myself to work through the problem, whether it's something wrong with the plot or the characters. Writer's block is frustrating and a little scary, but half the battle is recognising that I have it - a symptom for me is lack of confidence and lazy writing - and meeting it head on.
