My turn to apologize. I just noticed your note. I'm still interested in beta readers. The only hitch is that my plan was to release to book at the end of May. The way things are going it doesn't look like I'm going to make that deadline. If you're still interested, let me know. If you're able to finish within a couple of weeks, there's a good chance I'll be able to use your comments.

Ideas inspire me to write. Like - 'What if this event were to take place? What would be the result'. I'm also always trying to capture the conflicts and relationships between people, trying to express them on the page.

I got the idea for my latest novel, which I'm planning to release in a few months, from thinking about vampires - which is strange, because it has nothing whatsoever to do with vampires. In general, I'm always looking for new ideas, and I've found they can come from almost anywhere (see my blog entry - Writer's Mind, Beginner's Mind).
