Jay Allan Storey Karlie,
My turn to apologize. I just noticed your note. I'm still interested in beta readers. The only hitch is that my plan was to release to book at the end of May. The way things are going it doesn't look like I'm going to make that deadline. If you're still interested, let me know. If you're able to finish within a couple of weeks, there's a good chance I'll be able to use your comments.
Even if you don't get back to me in time, I'd still like to hear what you have to say. Let me know if you're still interested. If so, what format would you like?
Jay Allan Storey Lately, I've tried writing several books at once. I've got four on the go right now. When I run out of ideas for one I can usually come up with ideas for another.
Jay Allan Storey Letting you're imagination run wild, creating worlds that get you excited, sharing your vision with other people.
Jay Allan Storey I don't have much to say that hasn't been said before. Write, write, and write some more. You have to be doing it for yourself. If you're in it just trying to make money you're destined to fail.
Jay Allan Storey I'm currently working on a sequel to my thrilling YA/SciFi novel THE BLACK HEART OF THE STATION. The working title is BLACK HEART: ARRIVAL.
Jay Allan Storey Ideas inspire me to write. Like - 'What if this event were to take place? What would be the result'. I'm also always trying to capture the conflicts and relationships between people, trying to express them on the page.
Jay Allan Storey I got the idea for my latest novel, which I'm planning to release in a few months, from thinking about vampires - which is strange, because it has nothing whatsoever to do with vampires. In general, I'm always looking for new ideas, and I've found they can come from almost anywhere (see my blog entry - Writer's Mind, Beginner's Mind).
