I got the foundation for the romance from the lives of male survivors of sexual abuse, many of whom did not believe they would ever find love or that they deserved it once they found it. Surrounding the story is my rejection of the sci-fi lustfest of many of my friends and from my upbringing (Dad loved Dr. Who). Then I added characters from my present and past with a nice dose of "gosh, I wish I was more like this person."

The working title is "The Iceworm Project: a human marriage in three parts". It is a continuation of the story of 'my boys' from "The Roswell Discrepancy: a human romance in three parts". Sensing a theme here?

I keep writing! It seems to be the only way to get past it. But, once I get one paragraph that feels right, I stop and treat myself to a piece of apple pie! Yum.
