Bella Juarez Tightrope is my latest release with Saving Me soon to follow. Tightrope's plot was inspried by a doumentary I watched about EMPs use or potential deplyment by terrorists. This plot thread will be carried through two more books in the Black Ops Brotherhood series. Taking bits and pieces from the news also adds to the intrige, drug cartels, the latest military weapons, etc. The romantic thread of the story comes from life general. Who doesn't want to be love and accepted unconditionally?

The inspriation for Saving Me is actually drawn from the reality series Ghost Hunters and a real haunted mansion in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas-Victoria's Black Swan Inn. The romantic thread is about redemption and forgiveness for the stupidity we engage in while in high school.
Bella Juarez Walking down the street can inspire me to write. A very active imgaination helps. I think writing for me is more of a need than an inspriration. With all these characters talking in my head, I'd crazy if I didn't write.
Bella Juarez Currently I've got a few works in progress. I'm working on the next Black Ops Brotherhood, Counter Strike. This one is the seventh installment in the series and is Commander Lance "Cobra" Corbin's story. I'm also working on two more books for Decadent Publishing's Beyond Fairy Tales hopefully ready for a fall release. Look for a whole lot more to follow from the brothers and a new world I'm building with the Beyond Fairy Tales series.

Bella Juarez Never give up. Writing is a business most people don't come out of the gate as bestsellers so be consistant and keep writing. Slow and steady wins the race.

Check your ego at the door. All writers gain some success and you will never be too good for your readers or above accepting criticism. Listen to those who know the business and never forget who got there.

Don't forget how much you love to write.
Bella Juarez World building. Creating a world and the people in is an awesome feeling. Determineing the out comings and always having a happy ending for my characters who deserve and have worked for it is some serious job satisifaction. Giving a villian there comeuppance is also a lot of fun.
Bella Juarez I've found that writer's block usually happens when I'm stuck in a story or I've lost my way with the plot. Talking it through with my editor or critique partner helps me get back on the right path. Then there are time when I simply don't feel the love and I don't want to write. During these times I make myself sit and at least try to get 750 words into the manuscript. Whatever it is, keep writing, it'll eventually pass.
