Will the Shadow Wolf series continue?
C.P.D. Harris Hi, sorry for the late reply, Windwalker.

Currently the Shadow Wolf series is finished. I enjoyed writing it, but found it really hard to market because it occupied such a unusual niche.

I'm always interested to hear some feedback though. What did you like about it?

C.P.D. Harris Hi Lope. I am considering this. Currently I am writing another book about the Grand Championships, and another that follows the war on Ithal'Duin. The Black-Cloaks will be in both of them.

The basic plot for a Black-Cloak centered book is already partly in place (examine the conversations between Gavin, Sax, Liam Valcoeur, and Chosen Mordehawk, or the exploits of Captain Katryn diAuran (or diAubryn -- cant remember how I spelled it :P)

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
C.P.D. Harris Your first draft is never perfect.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
C.P.D. Harris I keep writing. If a block actually stops me, I set down what needs to happen in point form and move on.

How do you get inspired to write?
C.P.D. Harris I read, I play games, I go to conventions when I have the cash. I am a bi fan of Geek Chic, which I feel is the embryo of information age culture.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
C.P.D. Harris Classical History and Role-Playing Games. The Gladiatorial combats have obviously Roman influences with a healthy dose of ESPN and a great old Lucas Arts game called Gladius. The Legions are inspired by history obviously, but also a fair bit of wargaming.

C.P.D. Harris I am working on a book that covers the next Grand Championship in the Domains of the Chosen.
