Kimberly Conn I love to watch and listen to other people, take the most interesting characteristics and stories, and turn them into something new.
Kimberly Conn A novel about a suburban mom trying to cope with two very challenging (in different ways) kids. Let's just say she doesn't cope very well. As a mom myself, I see people struggling all the time to hold it together in difficult situations and I really empathize with the ones that seem to have more than their share of challenges.

Kimberly Conn If I'm seriously blocked (not just distracted or inadvertently procrastinating) I get up from my computer and go for a walk. I don't listen to music, I just think about my story, how it could be different (better) and maybe how it could be rerouted. I read once that when writing gets boring it's a red flag that the storyline is boring, and I think that's a great tip.
