Good question! I think I would find myself in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I'm not sure where I would be, but I know what I would do. The battle between good and evil has been fully engaged. It's clear what needs to be done and how it must be done. I would like to find myself risking everything that I am to fight for good, for what is right. For the betterment of mankind and myself. As Samwise Gamgee says, "That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for.” Maybe because I wish I could have that kind of impact in our very real world with its very real and complicated struggles.

To be honest, I didn't have a summer reading list this year. My novel, The Emancipation of Evan Walls, came out in June and I've been quite busy with events, interviews, etc. I'm just beginning to think about picking up a book to read for pleasure. I hope you had a great summer of reading though!
