What is the writing plan or process you use to get from one point of what you write to another? I'm interested in knowing if your process follows the one you were taught in school. We teach a standard set of steps at our school. What are your thoughts and insights into how to create develop a piece of writing?

Adam Braun The process taught in school seemed to be intro, body, conclusion. While that general structure was followed in each chapter, I tend to write more towards narrative scene setting followed by insight (or lesson learned). Occasionally I'd try to weave the insight into the middle of a chapter, it really depended on the story each chapter focused on. More than anything, I tried to write each chapter as its own standalone story or episode. I wanted the book to read like you feel when binge watching a season of a great show on Netflix, where one episode leads you into another and you become addicted to learning about what comes next.
