You're limited only by your imagination. I like the idea that you can create a story out of nothing and watch the characters, plot and settings come to life. I like that sometimes your characters surprise you and take you in a direction you never anticipated when you first begin the story. It's hard to pick just one best thing about being a writer. There are so many.
