Marci Bolden Buddy sounds adorable! Right now, we have two senior dogs--a beagle/black lab mix named Sam and a minpin named Barney. Both are 16 years old. We also have a senior calico cat named Reba, who is 11 years old, and two younger cats under the age of 3, Jack and Squishy.
Marci Bolden I've recently started a new series, Chammont Point, that will focus more on the ups and downs of friendship. I really was looking for something that wasn't quite as intense as the last series I wrote and forming new friendships seemed like a good place to start. From there, I formed three characters that may not seem like they should fit well together, but end up being the best of friends.
Marci Bolden My reading list almost always has Susan Mallery, Lisa Genova, and Nicholas Sparks on there somewhere. I recently discovered Jennifer Probst through a conference, so have added a few of her titles to my list as well. Besides those authors, I generally like self-help and non-fiction because I'm a nerd at heart.
Marci Bolden I can find inspiration in just about anything from songs, movies, other books, or just watching people in a coffee shop. I like to listen to the music I think my characters would like when I'm writing so I can stay "inside" their heads.
Marci Bolden The final book in the A Life Without series (A Life Without Regrets) is in final production and should be released in December, so I'm getting ready to promote that. In the meantime, I've started a new series called Chammont Point. The first book will introduce Jade Kelly, Darby Zamora, and Taylor O'Shea as they start a new and sometimes adventurous friendship. Marci Bolden You absolutely have to believe in yourself and your work enough to overcome the obstacles, rejections, and insecurities that will try to stop you from succeeding.
Marci Bolden I love that the voices in my head create characters and stories that other people can relate to. The best thing for me as a writer is hearing how my work has connected with someone who read it.
Marci Bolden When I can't write, I like to get caught up on gardening, crafting, and mindlessly scrolling social media. Sometimes you just have to walk away from the work!
Marci Bolden "Honey, I'm home," he said closing the back door.

Startled, she looked from the man, covered in dirt, to the shallow grave where she'd buried him the night before.
Marci Bolden The Shire with the hobbits. Not only would I would finally be the tall one in the room, but they have seven meals a day! Breakfast, Second Breakfast, Elevenses, Luncheon, Afternoon tea, Dinner, AND Supper. YES!
