I'd have to say Yelena & Velik from the Study series by Maria V. Snyder. He's mysterious and she's very determined. His mysteriousness doesn't phase her and even though they're lovers they work really well together.

Learn as much as you can about sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, etc. Try to get your story edited to near perfection before submitting. Publishers now days are tough and don't want a whole lot of editing work.

Binge on eating salad and watching TV for a week, and then go to the gym a lot. It's a sort of cleanse. When you exercise your body produces (something) that gives your brain a boost and opens the creative flow.
