If I could travel to any fictional book world, I believe it would be to Rivendale- but ONLY if I could be transformed into an Elf before going. That and develop some serious sword skills along with bow & arrow. I chose that because #1, the elves are beautiful, they live an extensive amount of years and their so magical. It's always appealed to me and where else can one live amongst such beauty? Thanks for asking!

Honestly, my summer reading list is enormous, but I expect to read 10 books while enjoying my holiday in the U.K. I will re-read the entire Zombie Fallout series, by Mark Tufo. His characters, storyline and gift of description will be a source of education as well as entertainment.

Honestly, I have no current mysteries, but that could change, as I'm about to embark on a 25-day journey from London, to Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Canada. Ask me that same question in three months time! lol

Wow, my favorite fictional couple. That's tough, because only a few have truly phased me enough to wish I could know what's happening to them Right Now or read forever. If I had to choose, it would be Cinder & Kai of The Lunar Chronicles. I choose them because Cinder was ordinary and had all sorts of body issues and Kai saw past all that, to see the girl she truly was. They were equally brave and wanted happiness for others as well as themselves. To me, they were perfect in their imperfections and that made them absolutely PERFECT! :) Thanks for asking!

I take many of my ideas from dreams, to be quite honest. I have some of the most insane dreams. If I'm lucky and I remember enough of it, I quickly jot it down, work out an outline and violà!

May years ago, I'd written a novel, titled Threshold. I was pleased with it and was getting up the nerve to have it published when I experienced a house fire. My family lost everything.
During that transition, my husband purchased me a Mac and Macbook Pro. I homeschooled, so I knew what the Mac would be for, but I didn't have a clue about the laptop. It was summertime and I was deathly board, so I picked up the MbP and began typing. Before I knew it, a book had formed!

I am currently working on two short stories and an upcoming novel. The two short stories were both previously written and published on a weak ebook site. I loved them, but felt they needed work, so they'll be re-released here on Smashwords.
The novel is one I've completed the outline to, but just haven't started it yet. I like to clean up unfinished business before beginning new ones. I have many projects, but these need to get back out to my younger readers. I think they're nice stories to share, and at the price of free- I need them done!

My best advice for any new author is to NEVER PAY FOR HAVING YOUR STORY PUBLISHED! I was a fool and very naive with my first novel and I ended up taking it back from the publisher. If you're going to pay for anything, do it your way- pay for it all yourself as an Indie Author, or find a publisher who wants you so badly, they're willing to pay for everything in advance.

Great advice indeed! I myself had the worst experience with Author House!

For me, the best thing about being a writer is all in creativity. I can come up with something as huge as another world, or focus in one a small town or street. It's all up to me and that's what I feel is the best thing; it's all in the creativity.

Whenever I am hit with writer's block, I take time away from that particular project. I have several other outlines or projects tucked away to work with. When my mind had cleared and I receive a new direction or idea for the first storyline, I go back to it.
