Tough question.
So many things inspire me! People I see. Places I go. Stories I've read. A simple phrase someone says in passing can send my mind down a path which leads to an entire session of character development.
For me, there is no simple and specific answer to this question. So I must say, everything. Everything and anything can inspire me to write.

After finishing the Aeather Saga with my co-author Misheal Cliff; I found myself immersed in numerous solo ventures.
I have written, to completion, 2 stand alone Paranormal Romance novels. I've also begun a YA series that will be a trilogy. Book one is complete, and I'm currently writing book two.
I'm hoping to launch a solo work in the beginning of 2016.

If you're passionate about writing. Do it. Don't let anyone or anything stand in your way.
Find a way to tell your story. Find a way to share your talent. It sounds simpler than it actually is, I realize. But that's my advice. Go the way of Nike and "Just do it".

For me, the best thing about being a writer, has to be the creation of characters. The ability to build from personal experience and bring someone to life in another's mind while they read. It's that connection to my readers I love. We may not know each other, but we both know the characters in the book. There is something unspeakably cool about that.
Also, there are a million stories in my head, just waiting to be told. I find nothing more satisfying than to share those stories with others through the characters I create.

Honestly, when I can't write, I read. I know, sounds a little odd. However, I find getting my mind off my own work, by diving into someone else's often helps my writer's block clear. I find inspiration and peace every time I sit down with a nice cup of coffee and a great book. The next day I'll get up and give the writing another go.
