We are working hard on "Hornet's Nest" and the first draft is about 90% complete. If everything goes well, I'd love to see it out by the end of the year, if not early 2017.

Getting up in the morning, fixing a cup of coffee, and thinking, "Hey! I get to spend some time in that universe today!" Also, the feeling that someone, somewhere, has actually read something I've written, and that it's had an impact on them. It's so cool when a complete stranger leaves a review or sends an email letting us know how much the book meant to him or her. My fantasy (as yet unfulfilled) is to be sitting next to someone at an airport, look over and see that they are reading a Flight of the Angels book, and ask them what they think of it.

When I feel like I'm up against a wall, and nothing seems to be moving, I'll take a day or two and read through the story as written so far. I actually like our characters and want to know what's happening in their lives. As a result, I often fall in love with the story all over again, and can't wait to write the next chapter.

Aaron and I are currently working on the sequel to Flight of the Angels. We anticipate the release of Hornet's Nest in October of 2015.
