Annette Young Hi Carol,
Apologies for the delay in responding. We've had some tech difficulties and have been gradually adding content to and re-designing the website and comp results will be added soon. Winners have been notified, we've just had a delay with publishing.
Regards,
Annette
Annette Young I am currently writing a series of non-fiction books designed to help those who want to improve their own writing skills. The latest book is on characterisation.
Annette Young I just love being a writer. It's everything I imagined and more. I like the freedom it gives me - I've been fairly nomadic since I started writing full-time and I can use my travelling experiences in my writing. I love the fact that I can choose what I am working on. I can be working on my own books (fiction and non-fiction) in the morning and can be commissioned to write courses or articles in the afternoon. I also help other writers to achieve their publishing goals. Phew! It's a busy life and no two days are the same.
Annette Young My most recent book was, Emotional Abuse - Get Out of My Head and Out of My Bed. It's aimed at all the women who endure less than healthy relationships and who feel depressed, unlovable and even suicidal as a result. I have experienced this first hand and the book has lots of personal information throughout as I really wanted to be able to reach out to other women and to say you are not alone.
Annette Young I live in the shadow of the Pyrenees Mountains so each morning I am greeted by inspiring scenes.
Annette Young Learn the craft well. Write every day. Write up your personal experiences, absorb life and write about it, use every memory and every occurrence within your writing and it will strengthen your skills. Above all else, enjoy it. Writing should always be fun even if it stretches your capabilities.
Annette Young I always have lots of writing projects on the go so I find by switching from one to another, it frees up any creative blocks.
