I am currently working on my first novel "Billy's Band", which is set in the 1970s (my era!) around a young rock band. It is a coming of age novel but also has a tragic element to it surrounding the leader of the band- the eponymous Billy - and a mystery too.

Having previously commuted on the train to London for many years, I had the idea of producing a book of stories, each of which could be read within a few minutes which would be idea for commuting, or reading in coffee breaks, etc. So all of the stories can be read within 2 to 10 minutes.
The challenge with short stories of that length is getting the depth of characterisation along with a story that keeps the reader turning the page, so I hope that I have succeeded in that aim.
