Maureen Turner I imagine every writer has their own way with dealing with writer's block. For myself I have to walk away from the problem, leave it for a few days or even weeks before going back and re-reading the last couple of chapters out loud. I have even penned another story before going back to the troublesome one.
Maureen Turner You are the Controller of your words. You can lose yourself in your imagination and who knows... readers will be able to do the same when reading your book.
Maureen Turner I came to writing late in life and regret the wasted time when I considered writing a novel and then shelved the idea. If you have an inkling for a book, just go for it. Write whatever you want, just get the words down. Perfecting it comes later.

Maureen Turner As an avid reader myself I pick up on an idea and run with it. I would never consider plagiarism but even something as simple as a comment can get the creative juices flowing. I never know how a story is going to pan out. It develops as I write.
Quite often an idea will just pop into my head whilst walking my little dog Woody or even listening to music will suggest a notion for a story.
Maureen Turner I have read fantasy fiction involving Angels, Demons and also Nephilim. It occurred to me that it might be interesting to combine all three celestial/supernatural beings.
