Peter Ferko One of my favorite things about writing is the possibility of inhabiting other characters and other situations. In those situations, I get to explore my own choices, my hopes, and my thwarted desires. It's akin to being the creator of the universe in both an academic and poetic way.
Peter Ferko Write, write, write. Then, write some more.
Peter Ferko I'm working on a book that draws on my many years as a musician to explore how two people can be pulled together by their love and pushed apart by their competitiveness. A romance, a business dilemma — it's a Love Song!
Peter Ferko The inspiration for Incarnation came from my observations of my own and others' struggles to make what seem like life-changing decisions. We often look at those changes with a lot of anxiety and revisit them often after the fact and wonder "what if." In reading the Bhagavad Gita, I noted the advice that it was "how" you live, rather than what you do, that brings satisfaction/contentment/wisdom. I imagined how my characters would live if they made different choices; how their dreams and desires would guide them in each scenario. I leave it to the reader to decide the impacts.
