Michael Allan Scott Hey Dallas, Thanks for reaching and sending out the good luck! Can always use it. I'll look into Sleuthfest, though my calendar is stuffed at the moment. Best, MAS.
Michael Allan Scott I love to write, so anytime I get a chance is a fave.

And as far as a favorite place, I write in my studio/office with my dog sleeping on the floor. My view, the desert horizon through tall saguaros, palo verdes, and creosotes.
Michael Allan Scott In my experience writer's block is a product of one's imagination, the same source as the creative act, itself. This places it firmly in the grasp of the writer, making its handling a simple task. The solution, once you realize you are creating writers block, is to start writing and keep writing until the creative juices are flowing once more.
Michael Allan Scott Cut-Throat Syndrome, the fourth book in the Lance Underphal Mystery series, turns international thriller. Since its conception, its cross-genre premise morphed into a very different animal. It delves into the Dark Web, hacking, terrorism, and the CIA, while still heavily relying on its paranormal murder mystery roots. With the first draft complete, I’m roughly a quarter of the way through the first edit.
