I am currently working on a novel featuring Clara May, retired English Teacher, and Frieda, retired principal's assistant. During the preparation for the demolition of the old Dewers' High School a note is found behind Frieda's death that implicates her in the disappearance of a student 20 years earlier. Clara May and Frieda become sleuths to solve the mystery and keep Frieda out of the hands of the unscrupulous sheriff.
