How do you deal with writer’s block?
Janis Cox So far I haven't had a writer's block. I have too many ideas and it seems not enough time.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Janis Cox I love words - and I love the flow of words. But I also love to paint - so the two work together, either in creating books, or colouring books, or Bible journaling. Finding more and more about what God wants me to learn, that's the best thing.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Janis Cox For Christian writers I know that getting in touch with the Holy Spirit is the best way to find your creativity - and what God wants for you and your life.

Janis Cox I am working on a Bible study/journal/colouring book series.

How do you get inspired to write?
Janis Cox Always in prayer, reading my Bible and journalling time.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Janis Cox The Kingdom of Thrim was written after studying the Bible. I will have to look back in my journals to see what I read that day. But I knew that I felt called to get to the word out that talking to God is the most important thing we can do.
