M.L. Chesley I would go to Middle Earth and become a very tall Hobbit.
M.L. Chesley Sometimes I don't. Sometimes I have to sit and not even think about the story I'm working on for a bit. Other times I start writing prompts to help get the creativity flowing. Prompts have helped me out a lot! I've worked out a lot of writing issues by writing something else.
M.L. Chesley Don't give up! Every writer has a story to tell. Find your voice, learn your craft and work hard. And always make sure to have your work professionally edited. You might be the best writer out there, but you'll still make mistakes. It won't hurt to have it looked over.
M.L. Chesley I'm very close to sending my second book in this series off to be edited. The book is titled, "Veritas, Shadow of the Rose: Book Two".
M.L. Chesley By reading, watching epic movies or just listening to some music that stirs my imagination. I'm constantly asking myself, "What if?" or "Is there some other way this could be done?"
M.L. Chesley The idea for this book came from playing an online role playing game. It was text based, no graphics like World of Warcraft, or similar games. So it was already like writing out a story. Friends would have story ideas for their characters and I wanted to try to capture the essence of that. So if my book reads like a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, then I've succeeded in what I set out to accomplish.
