The book that I'm currently working on - the idea sparked from relationships that I have had and relationships some of my friends have had. I started writing this book 5 years ago but put it down. I think that life experiences that I have had since then have helped to develop the stories of my characters.

I make a habit of writing everything. But to get inspired to write something specific, either I see something on television, someone says something to me that sparks a thought or either a comment is being made about one of my current works.

I am currently working on two fiction books. The first one, He Said Grace: A story of lust, lies and deception, is currently in the editing stage. The sequel is currently underway as well!

Write! Write everything. It is a good idea to be in the habit of writing. Spend time each day writing something. Writing (practicing) consistently develops your skill.
Also, write from the heart. Readers like to be able to connect with authors when reading their work.

The best thing about being a writer is the ability to inspire readers through both fiction and non-fiction. I always want a reader to walk away better than they were before they started reading my literary works.
