Judy Do it. The more you write the better you'll get.
Judy Usually we don't look any further than our grandchildren...they're already worked out the plot for the Green Knight and the Dragon Warrior save Santa's sequel! Which isn't even available yet.
Recently friends have asked us to write stories specifically for their children of grandchildren. They give us a topic, names to be included, and we weave a plot. It's fun.
Judy We're currently working on the Friendly Worm and the Lonely Boy. It's based on a story our good friend Jackie tells her grandchildren. It amazing where inspiration comes from, our previous story was the response to our niece's daughter asking for a story about the day the sun disappeared.
If you have a story idea, let us know.
Judy We've had so many ideas from our grandkids that it hasn't been a problem...yet. Judy and I take the idea, sit on our roof top patio and bounce plot ideas off each other. Sam asked for a story about a lost unicorn...and that led to the Lost Unicorn. Will wanted one about the Treasure Fairy, and Graham, a wrestling story which led to Big T.
We're always open to new ideas...try us.
Judy We started with stories we used to make for our children, now it's our grandchildren who ask, "I would like a story about..." The one we're currently working on responds to the ask, "I want a story about the day the sun disappeared."
