I hope this question does not sound inappropriate, but as someone who is interested in developing a career as a writer I wanted to know if you are able to earn a sufficient income from writing alone or if you need to also work outside of writing? Thanks for the feedback!

Meg Muldoon Hi Dawn -- Thanks so much for asking me this question! Yes -- I am a full-time writer and thanks to my readers, I'm lucky enough to be able to make a living from writing cozy mysteries. I was a reporter for five years before that, and during that time, wrote my fiction on the side. I quit the newspaper two years ago to write mysteries full time, and I've been very happy with that decision since. I love what I do now. I'd be happy to talk more about this with you if you'd like!
