What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Michelle Hauck Love your writing but be prepared to move on to a different story and a different set of characters when it's finished. For many people it takes more than one book to break through. You have to be persistent and that means moving on from something you love to write something new.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Michelle Hauck By realizing that it's a sign something is wrong in my work in progress. If I'm unable to add new words, then something is off with the old words. Once I spot what is bothering me and change it, I can go back to writing.

As a former nuclear weapons designer, we agree: impeach Trump. After Trump won, I had to rewrite thirteen years of work with help from Goodreads editor Helen Kelly (HKelleyB). She suggested a trilogy. My work begins with Hitler, passing through the Trump era to WW III. STEM is woven in the background. Women take charge in the second half of book two. Michelle Hauck Thanks for the invite. I sometimes review a book from Netgalley, but I usually try and keep my reading simply for my personal enjoyment. Which means that I will do a rating but not a review. Good luck finding reviewers.

What are you currently working on?
Michelle Hauck I'm currently working on the sequel to Grudging and the second book of the Birth of Saints series. It is titled Faithful and is over 80% first drafted. You'll learn a lot more about the witches and the Children of Dal in this follow up, as well as seeing more of Claire and Ramiro.
