What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Rachel Bourne Never give up on your dreams. Try to sit down a little bit every day to write. Some days it may only be 15 minutes, some days two hours, maybe more if you're inspired. But if you write a little every day eventually you will have a novel. At least that was my experience, after a year I had a novel. Then, like the Terminator, I absolutely never gave up. Rewrites and submissions, not listening to all the no's. Anything you dream up you can create.
