If I feel overwhelmed then I just walk away and come back later. Never sit there and ponder over what isn't there. You need to get up, take a walk, get on the treadmill, go for a run, best of advice is to grab a book and read. Always read in your genre, that way you see what your fellow authors are saying about their craft.

I have always loved telling stories even as a young pup. I guess Stephen King had a hand in it. But first and foremost was the great Alfred Hitchcock who inspired me to tell tales of woe.

For Identity Crisis I came up with the idea from a soap opera I watched some years ago; Another World and Anne Heche played the dual role of identical twins. From there I just went a little crazy.
