Hello Blue, Thank you for the interesting request. I don't mean to sound rude or disrespectful either, but I don't have a friend called 'Blue' in my list of friends. Therefore, I can't unfriend you. I've confirmed this by going to your profile and I see the 'Add Friend' button. Don't worry I can't add you as a friend either, because I'm over the limit for friends. In general, I think some things aren't working in Goodreads in the background and your situation as regards seeing my daily posts when no longer a friend might be another issue that they're unable to resolve. Other examples of items that aren't working correctly include allowing people to go over the limit of 5000 for friends and not updating the weekly / monthly reviewer lists - these have stayed static for over 6 months now.

Hi Christine: I did have two cats but they both passed away a few years ago. They were called Freddie and Gemma. I'm glad you liked The Diary of a Buddhist Cat and you might be interested to know there's a sequel coming out soon called "Our Cats in Amsterdam" where the two cats have some adventures around Amsterdam.

I travelled the same route into work everyday on my motorbike. I took a shortcut up a side road that culminated at the brow of a hill. I had to brake halfway up the hill to come to a halt at the right place. I had to wait several minutes for a suitable gap in the traffic. There were always cars parked on the opposite of the road from the junction. On the day my brake line snapped halfway up the hill, and I didn't stop and did an understated impression of Evel Knievel, why were there no cars coming along the busy road and why were no cars parked on the opposite side of the road? I landed in the gutter and dawdled home at 10mph thanking my lucky stars for the unusual traffic behaviour.

Hi India: My next trip will be to Portugal for another book in the series Travels through History. I will be visiting The Azores, Madeira, Sintra, Mafra, Coimbra, Aveiro, and the Douro Valley - at least that's the plan, for around 24 days. What about you, India, where are you going next?
Julian Worker
I am sure they are, I hope to visit them in 2021. When did you go to The Azores, Angela?

I would go to Milliways the Restaurant at the End of the Universe and watch what happens whilst eating my favourite meal.

I would travel somewhere real and it would almost certainly be Ethiopia as I have always wanted to see the monasteries in Lake Tana and the rock cut churches.

Thanks Cat - please do share with your friends. I think we'd have to start locally with this and build from there.

Thanks for the information, Paul. As you say, that's not a good experience. I will pass this feedback to BooksGoSocial. I presume the same thing isn't happening on Amazon as they'd have contacted me otherwise. Thanks again and thank you for your good review.

Wallace and Gromit because they are such wonderfully defined characters. Gromit has so many expressions that convey more than words.

I don't really get writer's block. If I do, I tend to think I am not really interested in the piece I am writing and so I will set it aside for a few days and then come back to it to see whether any new ideas have sprung to mind.

To keep writing, to keep working hard, and to have faith in yourself - if you don't believe in yourself and your writing, why should anyone else believe in you?

There are many ways to become inspired depending on your interests and environment. Simple things like snippets of conversation that I overhear can cause ideas to start to bounce around my creative mind. Travel broadens my horizons and makes me want to write about my experiences.
