Sharon Hinck I love this question. Since I write about characters facing the exciting and challenging mystery of faith, I already draw from that mystery in my own life. Grace given freely, purpose beyond myself, love that is unconditional -- all given from the Creator who designed me and walks my life with me. That is a mystery that thrills and overwhelms me every day!
Sharon Hinck Thanks for the question, Luna_ama_i_libri! The third book is finished and edited and will release around March 2021. :-)
Sharon Hinck Hi, Gabriellyn, thanks for asking. :-)
The Deliverer is the official end of the story arc, with no concrete plans for more stories. However, I left a small possibility open in case the opportunity ever comes to write more in the series (or a spin-off series). I love that world, however, I'm currently working on something in a whole new universe.
Sharon Hinck Hi, Sarah!
Thanks for asking. I LOVED those characters, but don't have a sequel planned at the moment. I'm at work on a new fantasy series, so that's where my focus is at the moment. :-)
Sharon Hinck Getting ready for the release of The Deliverer in a few weeks. It's taken me seven years to finish this story, and I'm eager for those who enjoyed the other Sword of Lyric books to see what happens next.
Sharon Hinck I have a special page at my website (www.sharonhinck.com) under the "Words of Encouragement-for writers" tab with lots of tips. But in brief, some of the things that helped me were reading a lot, writing a lot, attending writing conferences, being a part of small groups of writers (for feedback and accountability) and working with critique partners.
Sharon Hinck For me, there are two "best" moments. The first is when the writing itself reveals something new, or clarifies a thought, or surprises me. The very process of creating can be a joy. The other best thing is when I hear from a reader that a certain plot thread or character or moment in a story was used by God to encourage, inspire, or comfort him or her. It reminds me that stories matter.
