Hi Sue, I'm thrilled that you enjoyed Guiding Emily. I'm so sorry to say that the publisher didn't provide codes that I can distribute to arc reviewers. I got a code and had to click on each chapter and listen to it on my laptop--super cumbersome. I'll see what I can find out. We've got the same voice for Garth (I love Fred Berman) and a wonderful voice for Emily. I want you to be able to read this!

I'm so sorry that it isn't available for you. The Kindle version will be 99 cents on Tuesday, if you use a screen reader? I'd love to make sure you have a copy. Would an ebook format work, if I sent that to you?

Funny you should ask -- I'll finish the final round of my edits on book 6 today. Still no title, but I'm close. From here, the manuscript will go to my editor for copy editing, proofreading, and formatting. She's very busy right now, so I'm hoping hoping hoping it will be out early fall, 2019.
I loved writing this book--I'm crazy about some new characters. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I think of my Rosemont series as books that build on each other and that should end with a bit of a cliffhanger -- like a television series. I love these sorts of novels. This is a 5 book series. I've just completed the first draft of the third book and we're seeing a lot of the characters grow and change. I'm glad you liked Coming to Rosemont and I'm sorry that you were unhappy with book 2. I'd like to make amends--I have a mystery series called The Night Train that I've been posting in installments on my blog. It's gotten rave reviews and will conclude on September 19. I call it a Bedtime Story, and I will post more of them on my website. www.barbarahinske.com

I deal with writer's block by getting out of my chair and going for a walk--usually with one of my dogs. I just start out, swinging my arms and letting my mind clear. After about 10 minutes, I'll turn my mind to whatever is stumping me, and ideas present themselves. I've read that other writers do this, too.

I'm working away on the third book in the Rosemont series. I'm working with my editor, Linden Gross, along the way in this book and am finding the process so much more efficient and more fun. And I love where this third book is going.
