I didn't write it specifically for Boomers, but it definitely fits. Mostly I just wanted to write something funny and light, and writing an idealized version of a retirement home fit perfectly. I'm just about done with the second book in the series, and it's been just as fun the second time around. Thanks for the interest.

No worries. I make writing new material the first thing I do in the morning. Not because I'm a morning person, but because it's the most important thing, and once it's done I can relax a little. I try to get 2000 words, which works out to two or three hours of work, depending on the day. The afternoon is for workouts, errands, etc. The evening is for rewriting. It's easy, provided you don't have a social life.

I don't really believe in writer's block. I have good days and bad days, but never days where I can't write. I've always loved what Emerson said: "Do the thing and you'll have the power." Most of the time it's just a matter of showing up.
