When will you be writing another book.?

Linda J. White I just sent SAR 5 to my beta readers! I anticipate an early July release date.

I just started listening to "All That I Dread." Do I need to start with a different series to understand the background of the characters? I like to read everything in order. PS - I work at a library and a patron highly recommended it, even though it was already on my to-read list.

Linda J. White Vicki, I'm so sorry I'm just seeing your question. Dread is the first book in my K-9 SAR series. I have other books, but they're not in this same series, so no need to read them first.
Dread has two more books following ... "The Fear That Chases Me" and "When Evil Finds Us." I'm working on Book Four now.

I absolutely love the book - Words of Conviction. This is my new favorite book. I would love to see this become a series. What do we need to do to make this happen?? Could you read all of your books on audible?? I would love to listen while I am on the road. Thank you so much!!!!!! ~ Yvonne

Linda J. White Thank you so much, Yvonne! I'm glad you like the book. I'm not planning for Words to become a series, but if you like that you'll like my other books, some of which are parts of a series. For example:
"Bloody Point" and its sequel "Battered Justice"; and
"Seeds of Evidence, and its sequel "Sniper!""
I'm planning a third book in the Bloody Point series after I finish the stand-alone I'm working on now. God bless, and thanks for reading!

I was very excited to read Seeds of Evidence as human trafficking is a cause that is very near to my heart. How did you come up with that particular story line?

Linda J. White I met a woman from Nepal who had been trafficked in her late teens. She was invited to travel to Mumbai to work as a domestic. When she got there, she was raped and trapped into the life. The outreach ministry of KK Deveraj, Bombay Teen Challenge, finally gave her her life back.
"Asha"'s story really touched my heart, and I decided to write about trafficking. I chose labor trafficking but the gist is the same. People are being abused--I wanted to bring attention to that.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Linda J. White I don't believe in writer's block. After all, you wouldn't expect your doctor to say, "I'm sorry, I can't diagnose you today. I have physician's block."
No. You are a writer. So write. Just do it.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Linda J. White I make sense of my world by writing about it. I love the research, loving bringing life to characters, love stories.
Basically, being a writer (for me) is all good!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Linda J. White Don't give up. Real writers can't NOT write. So don't give up on your dream.

What are you currently working on?

Linda J. White I'm working on the sequel to my first book, "Bloody Point." In "Battered Justice," Jake pursues a shooter who tried to kill another agent. But then, Jake finds the wheels of justice turning on him.
