Delka Beazer Hello Angela,

Sorry, it's taken me eons to respond to you but I will try to answer your question. Which one of my books are you referring to? I'd be more than happy to answer and again sorry for the late reply.

Delka Beazer Hi,

I can't say I can. Horror is not a big part of the skill set I'm working on as a writer. The thing that horrifies me is how much research you must do to write an even passably good historical novel!

Delka Beazer Hi,

If I could travel to any fictional world, I would go to Camelot because I've had a crush on King Arthur since I was a young girl. As for what I'd do there, I would cook in the kitchen, I know it doesn't sound romantic or even great but I think that you learn so much about people from what they eat!
Delka Beazer Hi there,

It's been a while since I've been on goodreads. To answer your question my summer reading lists contains several dark but heartwarming romantic books. To begin with I am currently reading "My Dark Vanessa," by Kate Elizabeth Russell and I've just finished "The Songbook of Benny Lament," by Amy Harmon. I've also read, "The Two lives of Lydia Bird," by Josie Silver.

All of these were fantastic and complicated stories with strong elements of romance that I found believable and refreshing.

If you have any suggestions for me, I'd be happy to give them a look.

Thanks,
Delka
Delka Beazer Haven't gotten it yet, knock on wood. I can sometimes stall on a story but there is always a next story bubbling in the back of my mind.
Delka Beazer Aww. This one's easy. I love to create. People, things, a world that you see behind your eyes. It's lovely and primal and fulfilling.
Delka Beazer To write. Sometimes I feel that its taking too long for people to find my books or worse yet to like them. But if you love writing and creating stories about the people you would want to know, then you should write them. The most interesting people I meet are in my books. My second and equally critical bit of advise is to learn, find and develop a marketing strategy that will help you sell books. I am working on this and it is hard, frustrating and sometimes seems fruitless but its gotta be done to find new readers. Social media for independent authors is a must. I have a twitter page now and I actually like it posting to it and interacting with other readers and writers.
Delka Beazer That's a tricky question that brings a smile to my face. I work on several books at once. I am currently trying to hash out the second half of "Storm" but I'm also working on a fantasy novel, yet to be named that involves King Henry VIII and King Arthur. I also have have a contemporary IR romance in the works. I am too restless to work on any one book or genre, I need more and more. Just kidding. I love the world of fiction and every part of it fascinates and cajoles me into turning my mind's eye to it. But to give you a simple answer, I am working on part two of "Storm," for the most part.
Delka Beazer I'm inspired to write everyday. Not kidding. I can't help but write. I can pull something out of everything I see and create a book. However, I am learning that the reader does not like everything I do, so I try to be careful to create stories that are geared towards my readers taste.
Delka Beazer My most recent book is "Storm" the third installment in my Assassin Chronicles. I got this idea from my youth. I am a Caribbean girl and I think beaches, grey stormy seas and romance a perfect blend. Add some danger to that, like you know, someone trying to kill you, and out pops a entertaining concept for a book.
